Thomas Lange
Thomas Lange, son of a German Business trader was born in Costa Rica in 1975. Since then he has lived in Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Germany, France and Venezuela. He was Germanys first Professional Surfer, surfing for Quicksilver, Red Bull and Reef.
Thomas has been placed several times first in the German Championship and had his best result on the 1996 World Surfing Gamers in Huntington as 28th.
Followed by several invitations to Air shows (European Trial Winner of The Volcom Air show in Hossegore) and solid results on the European Professional Tour EPSA NOW WQS Europe. He also placed 2nd in the Venezuelan National Championships and first in the Guatemala Championships. (As a guest as he has the German Nationality)
Now Thomas lives in Hermosa / Costa Rica, where he runs Fatum Travel and enjoys the warm and perfect waves of Costa Rica
Still competing here and there and working for Quicksilver as a Free Surfer, Thomas will be part of the 2009 World Championship in Playa Hermosa Costa Rica for Team Germany.
